Technology & Innovation
Abidex SA is an independent company founded in 2004 and 100% Swiss-owned.
We market products and solutions for the valorisation, treatment, distribution and drainage of water,
as well as for building sustainability (remote management, LoRaWAN, multi-protocol gateway).
Since January 2015, we have been designing and manufacturing under our registered Abidex
® brand
to meet our customers' specific requirements, comply with Swiss standards and innovate on systems for today
and tomorrow. Our target market is Switzerland, yet our solutions are found on all five continents. Our
products, systems and solutions are used in a variety of sectors: residential, multi-occupancy, industrial,
agricultural and public.
Independence & Future
We are also independent thanks to our complete organisation – sales, logistics and technical – with a
multidisciplinary team of technicians and engineers: electrical, automation, mechanical, hydraulic and IT.
Since 2017, our IT department has been growing to support us in large-scale projects, in marketing new
"connected" products such as LoRa TOR alarms, in developing the software of our IoT/MCR management solution
and in building IT assignments.
This synergy gives us a strong capacity for innovation, research and development compared with much larger
competing groups.
Sustainability & Reliability
It is important to us to equip our systems with reliable components, working with industrial partners who
share our values of sustainability and reliability, such as Jacobi Carbons AB, KELLER Pressure, renowned
for Swiss precision, or exclusive partners such as DAB Pumps S.p.A. (Grundfos Group), a leader in
high-efficiency electric pumps. The same applies to our data centres: we work exclusively with Infomaniak,
the Swiss leader and a true pioneer of sustainability in the digital sector.
Integration is our watchword: an integrated solution or system aims for efficiency from the design stage,
remains scalable, ensures open data communication and adapts to its environment and practical
constraints.
